Welcome back to a quick little update from a small play session. Here you can see the girls doing their homework as the house carries on in natural harmony. You’ll also note the big space where the bedrooms will go which I still haven’t got around too despite having some spare cash saved up. At this point I still haven’t bought a bed for Tahani yet. Looks like a build session is about to happen.

I don’t think we saw John in last update. He’s still around, of course. He’s on a little mission to upgrade everything in the house (and cook basically all of the family meals, collect items around the lot and work his job as a Comedian – currently Level 7)

Thelma maxed her Mental skill and completed her aspiration of Whiz Kid. For some reason at this point my game camera wouldn’t take photographs with the C key shortcut so it missed the announcement picture for something special.

Yes, Nancy is pregnant again! As you can see, Phillip is still a toddler and the couple managed to hold off to try and time it for a newborn baby at the same time as his birthday.

Instead of being born just before his child birthday (like with previous kids there has been a baby-toddler combo) Nancy is still pregnant as Phillip ages up. He’s a very cute kid, I hope the game will see how wonderful boys are and allow Nancy and John to have more.

Unfortunately, my game was back to it’s old ways and another daughter was born! Simone Boomer makes for Girl #4 and hey, I’m not worried anymore. We’ve had a boy – they are at least possible. Just apparently rarer.

I am envious of other Baby Boom challenges with their multiple children and we are yet to have twins, never mind triplets.

And this was a super short part! I want to end on a screenshot of the household. Just so you know money-wise: John makes around $1,200 for every shift (he hasn’t missed a day, not even for family leave) and Nancy’s books are still making her a lot of money – from over $5,000 down to $3,000 now. Nancy has also been painting, writing the odd book here and there to bump up her royalties pay and has just unlocked the ability to write songs on the guitar (while Harriet can write and license songs on the violin)

For the moment I’m happy to keep the house quite small to minimise problems. I plan to add one more children’s bedroom (to make for six separate sleeping spots) and focus on upgrading the furniture to make the house super comfortable.

Baby Boom Challenge 04

Welcome back to another little update from our Baby Boomers. You can now easily see who is in the household at the start (and I’ve forgotten how to do introductions). We expanded the house again, now the nursery is bigger and more child friendly AND there is a separate baby nursery with some cribs too.

Other than that, all that has happened of importance is that John drank his first Young Again Potion.

It’s just so PEACEFUL. The older girls have formed a club for teens and children called Homework Club Club so that, when I remember, all of the Boomer kids can bond over homework and cleaning. Tahani is plodding along nicely with her toddler skills.

When Nancy goes into labour I decided to have another hospital birth. Thelma and Tahani were both born at home. There’s no real reason for mixing it up – sometimes I don’t want to deal with sending Nancy away when she’s already in a good mood. This was just for a change.

The doctor looks confident at least.

And we can stop panicking because it was a boy! Phillip Boomer joins the family. I can relax safe in the knowledge that my game can still have boys (like, it isnt glitching) and was just messing me around by giving me three girls to start a challenge like this.

There’s a shorter age gap between Tahani and Phillip (the shortest yet) so we’ll be taking a few days to recover before we add another baby to the household.

In the meantime, there were a lot of birthdays to celebrate at the Boomer household. Harriet becomes our first teen! She looks so grown up – I don’t know if it’s because she’s almost the double of her mum or if it’s her flannel shirt?

She chooses the Musical Genius aspiration to match Nancy. Harriet already has a lot some violin skill built up from her childhood and I think this is a good enough reason to build a music room.

Phillip became a toddler on the same day.

I was worried for about two seconds about having to raise two toddlers. Phillip is independent so wants to do things by himself and Tahani basically functions as a child – all I have to do is make sure she is gets food. So it was smooth sailing once again.

Tahani celebrated her birthday to a child with maxed out Communication, Movement and Potty (not as good as Thelma with the other skills, but it’s no competition. I do want to try and have a toddler max all skills this challenge – that would be fun!)

And that makes 10 photographs and brings about the end of this update! We’re going to let Phillip get a little closer to his birthday before John & Nancy try for another child! In an ideal world, I want it so there is a constant flow of children leaving the house and being born. I don’t want to get clogged.

Baby Boom Challenge 03

Like basically everyone on boolprop I will now also be stealing the stats for the start of each part! (Thanks Livvie!) And adding them retrospectively because I like it when it all matches

Welcome back to my Baby Boomers! So far Nancy and John have had two daughters: Harriet (child) and Thelma who just aged into a toddler. The parents want at least another ten daughters and then twelve sons on top of that.

John and Nancy decided to take a risk. They’d waited until Harriet was toward the end of her toddler years before getting pregnant with Thelma, but now that Thelma was a toddler they desperately wanted to fill the crib with a new baby. They’d had two daughters and even though they knew there were a lot more babies in their future they were anxious for a boy.

Like with the first pregnancy, the couple were disappointed with a wave of bad news before they finally conceived.

Truth be told, I’ve never had a sim couple that have only been successful getting pregnant around 50% of the time. It’s strange (my sims tend to be super fertile) and it seems that no matter how meticulous I plan – or if I decide to break away from that plan – there is still a random factor in the mix.

The pregnancy went by smoothly. Nancy focused on writing, John worked and took care of the home and the children were happy and eager to skill. Another baby girl joined the family: Tahani Boomer (named after Tahani from The Good Place)

Harriet is a wonderchild. Only halfway through her child lifespan and she completed her child aspiration of Creative Prodigy AND is on top of her school life grading at an A.

Soon after Tahani’s birth, Nancy completed her aspiration of Bestselling Author. I thought she’d complete her aspiration after a lot more kids but there you go. Nancy is amazing, three kids and one complete aspiration. She decided to try her hand at the Musical Genius aspiration (but will still write the odd novel here and there for income purposes) and I might also get her to start painting for when she undoubtedly goes on to that aspiration.

Tahani became a toddler, again the timing was perfect because it happened on Thelma’s birthday to childhood.

As a toddler Thelma maxed her Potty, Communication and Thinking skill. She was close with her other skills too and is the most skilled toddler I’ve ever achieved in game. With such successful toddlers with minimal effort on my part, I think we can manage more babies.

After a rocky start to her last pregnancy, I made John and Nancy try for a baby as soon as possible and the good news was that they conceived on the first try!

Here’s hoping the Sim Gods start blessing us with boys.

Baby Boom Challenge 02

John & Nancy Boomer had just had their first child Harriet and their hearts were full. They’ve set themselves the crazy goal to have 12 sons and 12 daughters and were eager to have more. However their financial situation was a daily struggle and they needed to make a little more money before they had more children.

This gave Harriet a lot of time as an only child. Her parents doted on her, encouraging all of her skills. She maxed Potty, Movement, and Imagination. Almost maxing Thinking too.

When the family’s first bills arrived they only had to pay $525. Of course, their house was small (yet expanding!) so $525 was actually a lot for what they had. They were struggling to make ends meet as it was – luckily Nancy’s royalties had just surpassed the $500 mark and John was due another promotion soon.

Things were running smoothly and money became less of a burden so the couple decided it was time to try for another baby. They were successful and during her pregnancy, Nancy worked hard bumping her royalties over $1,000 while John earned himself a few promotions, eventually choosing to go down the comedian branch of his entertainment career.

There was a lot of upsides and a few problems too – Nancy started a fire. To the outside world it may seem like she was a stay at home mother but really she wrote most of every day. It was John who did most of the cooking and cleaning around his shifts.

Nancy managed to put the fire out and no one was harmed.

Soon after the stress of the fire, Nancy gave birth to their second daughter: Thelma Boomer.

The timing of Thelma’s birth was perfect. It was also the day of Harriet’s birthday meaning the parents could focus on one toddler at a time.

The house was also improving. I’m going to leave this part here with some (poor) shots of the house. They have a second floor and I’ve also been able to upgrade some of their crappy furniture too.

I’m trying not to freak out that I’ve had 100% girls (even if it is only two babies so far) but still, things are going swimmingly!

Baby Boom Challenge 01

John and Nancy Boomer wanted kids – and lots of them. John dreamed of having 12 sons while Nancy dreamed of having 12 daughters. So while they were still young and crazy in love them moved out to Willow Creek with what little money they had, bought a lot and decided to start a life together. 

Welcome to my Baby Boom Challenge! The basic goal of this challenge is to have one couple, Nancy and John there, have 12 sons and 12 daughters – 24 overall if we get the lucky split, and if not it could be more until we reach that number of boys and girls born. More details of the challenge can be found here

Sidenote: the only rule I’m not abiding is that all babies born have to have a name beginning with the letter B. Instead I’ll be doing a different naming scheme (H T T P S B O O L P R O P N E T I N D E X P H P) suggested over on Boolprop which I’ll repeat if I go over 24.

Nancy and John Boomer were found on the gallery (searching 1940 and by gabbsbach) but I changed Nancy’s clothes and hair and I changed John’s face and skin tone.

They found a huge lot (50×50) for sale and settled down. John immediately got a job in the Entertainer career and encouraged Nancy to stay at home so she could be there for their future kids.

But that wasn’t good enough for Nancy. She wanted to contribute so started roaming the neighbourhood in her free time for gems and collectables. Her dream was to write books, but to do that she’d need a computer and John hadn’t received his first paycheck yet. She was itching to write.

John and Nancy tried for kids immediately. Even with a small house, one low paying income and no real means of supporting a child they tried from the start to get pregnant. They were unsuccessful for a long time. In one hand, it was almost a blessing in disguise as it gave them more time to prepare, but on the other hand all they wanted was kids.

Nancy soldiered on. It was her foraging and collecting that raised the funds for her computer. Sure, it was high tech and certainly not reliable – but it was a start. She started working on her books, and when he could get time on it, John worked on his jokes and comedy too.

And that wasn’t the only good news – Nancy found out she was pregnant!

Whilst pregnant, John helped with the scavenging since Nancy was finding it harder to get out the house, even if it felt more cramped ever day.

Her mood was plummeting. She kept wetting herself. The computer broke and once John went to fix it it disappeared completely which stilted her writing career.

Suddenly the time for nesting was over and the baby was on the way. John panicked. Nancy worried, but they brought a baby girl into the world.

Their first daughter: Harriet Boomer. The house still didn’t really have the space, but they knew they could manage. Still, they made a mental note to wait a small period of time before bringing another baby into the world.

I think my plan is to end each part on the birth of a new child but we’ll see how that goes once the house is a little bit fuller. I do enjoy small updates.

The Munch Legacy 6.5

The heirship is currently down to the four youngest of this generation: Idris, Ulysses, Wendy and Leora. Meanwhile their father, Advik, is growing old.

Advik is a real gem in this part, I’m going to start off by telling you not only did he complete his Master Mixologist Aspiration but he also went and topped his career as a mixologist – this brings us in a couple of points for the legacy and I am so happy and proud of Advik.

He then also served a highest quality drink on date, it took a couple of times to get it right. This is another point (an easy one I probably should have ticked off a long time ago)

Also, in terms of Bernadette and Advik dates: Silver x1

Poster collection complete!! I don’t even know how many generations I’ve been looking for that one poster there but Advik found it by pure luck and our 5th collection is finally complete!

I am Advik’s biggest fan right now. In this short space of an update I think he’s earned this legacy about 3 points which is quite frankly amazing (getting us up to 75 which is my A* goal). But it’s not all about him now, is it?

Soon after that, Bernadette completed the Gardening collection (our 6th complete collection!) and later on the family finished the Crystal collection too!

Now I’m being incredibly lenient on myself with collections because a) they are my biggest weakness and b) we lost so much progress in the glitch move. Basically, when the game rewards me the plaque to say the collection is complete then the collection is complete. I’m ignoring the Sixam stuff because Sebastian had grabbed a lot of that in the previous save and I probably won’t be going down the astronaut route again.

It’s only a few points that I’m being easy on myself for! I feel like this is okay.

Advik decided to die of old age as he was nearing completion of the Charisma skill. I had Bernadette intervene and buy his life with a Death Flower. I’m actually a little hazy, but a little red flag is going off in my head that this might be against the rules but I can’t remember now. The rules are starting to get a little more flexible the further on we get in this challenge. Let’s be honest, if you’re reading this far in you’re probably in the Munch corner so I feel like I have your support on this.

And while I have a shot of her, Bernadette maxed the Cooking skill

With the extra time Advik managed to max the Charisma skill – it’s funny how that always seems to be the skill I get my elders to complete in their final few days.

Soon after, he found himself trapped in a part of the basement he’d never been in before. I realised that I don’t think you’ve ever seen the basement before (and haven’t seen the house for a while either) so here’s a shot of a poor, trapped Advik who, shortly after this photograph was taken, died of Starvation.

Because this was such a big generation with five parts instead of four (causing an odd split) we’re going to just briefly list the accomplishments of the final four children instead of jumping around and causing lots of confusion.

Above is Idris as a young adult. I was very tempted to let him stay in the household as heir. Though he didn’t complete much through childhood he worked super hard and completed his Curator aspiration (also helping with the family collections) and is so gosh darn cute.

Though he doesn’t take things any further in terms of Munch lineage he may appear in the Miskin Legacy (a truly fabulous, and at this point almost complete, legacy you shouldcheck out regardless)

Ulysses maxed the Mental skill and completed his Whiz Kid aspiration as a child. He was then ignored quite a bit by me, whoops.

Wendy maxed Movement and Potty skill as a toddler. She then went on to complete her Artistic Prodigy aspiration meaning she also maxed her Creativity.

It was around her childhood that I realised that Wendy is amazing, interesting and full of potential so will be the heir for Generation 7. This is her as a Young Adult and although I don’t remember much personality-wise I know she has the Insane trait which I haven’t played in a while (as far as I can remember)

And youngest Leora maxed Communication and Potty skill as a toddler. She maxed her Mental skill as a child as well as completing her Whiz Kid aspiration.

She had a couple of dates with her teen boyfriend Reyansh Datta: Gold x2

To demonstrate how long this part was played, Bernadette celebrated her birthday to elderhood (she was 20+ days younger than Advik at least). And while we’re on the subject of parties:

Dinner Party: Silver x1

Bernadette reached level 10 in her Scientist career! She also maxed her Charisma skill and completed her Friend of the World aspiration! She then switched to Leader of the Pack which she very quickly completed in the same night.

And that wraps up Generation 6! It has been a giant generation and I’m hoping things will return to normality from here on in. We’re left with elder Bernadette who is passing her crown on to Wendy. Also in the house is youngest Leora who is still a teen and will be sticking around to hopefully help complete some careers.

LIFE UPDATE:
From here on I have quite a few deadlines for uni over the following months so may not be updating as frequently as I’d like but I do always think about these Munch babies and hope to continue (most likely in the new year). We’re closer to the end than the beginning so my main goal is just finishing this up and if some points get lost by the wayside then that’s okay.

The Munch Legacy 6.4

Hello again to another update from the Munch family! Here we have Bernadette, our Gen 6 heir, telling her husband Advik that she is pregnant yet again with baby number #7 for Generation 7.

Their children so far have had some good and bad lives. In a quick recap they’ve had: Raymond (found love, had kids), Sylvia (eaten by a Cow Plant), Cameron (I tried to kill him several times but he escaped the household unharmed), Nicholas (happily married) and still in the house are Quinnell and Ywain (now teenagers).

Ywain here recently went to a festival where he ate pufferfish. He made the dish at home and found he was just as good as the stall.

But he got a little obsessed and ate it all the time. It was always poor quality but he survived a LOT of it. Until one day he didn’t. Ywain died from eating Pufferfish.

Yeesh, it’s one every update – that’s three updates in a row I’ve killed a sim. I’m not proud, but I think we’re about halfway with the death collection so you can expect more otherwise these deaths will have been for nothing!

Not to be corny, but with death comes life and soon Idris and Ulysses were born – another pair of twin boys pushing us to 8 babies for Generation 7. I had really hoped for triplets so we’d be just one away, but twins is still good.

Can we just take a side and rant about how many boys have been born in this legacy? Over seven generations we’ve had only had NINE girls out of TWENTY-NINE births and the majority of those girls were in Vanessa’s generation. It’s because I have a list of girls names I’m excited about isn’t it?

Soon it was time for babies to be toddlers. We waited until the twins were closer to their birthday before trying for another baby. Bernadette is STILL a Young Adult, we have so much time that I’m not going to make everyone exhausted with loads of babies in the house.

And while we’ve got a shot of Advik here, let me just note that he has maxed Cooking, Mixology and Dancing this part!

But in time Bernadette became pregnant Wendy was born. Baby number 9! We had her at the hospital. I think my game has a weird glitch that will only allow girls to be born in the hospital and any baby born outside will automatically be boy by default. I shall be experimenting over the last few generations.

Bernadette maxed Painting skill and she completed her Painter Extraordinaire aspiration! She has now moved on to Friend of the World.

We celebrate a some of birthdays! Idris and Ulysses become children on the same night Quinnell becomes a Young Adult. I let them have separate birthday parties. The medals rewarded are: Gold x1, Silver x1

Although he is a Young Adult, Quinnell doesn’t move out until I know he has two kids. Meet his girlfriend Houda who soon finds herself pregnant. Houda has a daughter, Chandler and later (once Quinnell has moved out) another daughter Savanna.

This complete’s Advik’s aspiration of Big Happy Family. He moves on to try complete  Master Mixologist next.

Raymond, Sylvia, Cameron, Nicholas, Quinnell, Ywain, Idris, Ulysses, Wendy and Leora here makes 10! And Bernadette is still 2 days from becoming an Adult. I can’t believe how hard I struggled to get 10 babies with Generation 3/4. This has been a walk in the park.

And here is Wendy (she actually has black hair under her onesie) and Leora as toddlers. With all 10 babies in the world, it is here where we shall have a slight pause. Next time we’ll be growing these kids up as well as picking an heir to carry on to Generation Seven!

At this point I honestly don’t know who will be heir.

Side note: counting the cash on hand and home value (and then adding the pre-glitch household) this family has a worth just under 867K!

The Munch Legacy 6.3

Welcome back to the Munch Legacy! Bernadette and Advik Munch, our current focus being the Generation Six heir and spouse, are still Young Adults and we’ve had 6 of the 10 kids for this generation.

I feel like we should do proper introductions, at least of the kids, because I’ve somehow got a house full of teenagers.

(Also, I have to apologise. I got very excited playing this part so the writing is very poor and a little all over the place)

In order of photographs Raymond (skull t-shirt), Sylvia (behind Cameron) Cameron and the cute one in the last photograph is Nicholas.

Then there are children, twins Quinnell and Ywain, who I forgot to photograph but we’ll see around I’m sure. As you can guess they’ve got red hair.

And that is how Sylvia got eaten by a cow plant. I know what you must think. Last chapter it was Vanessa and now Sylvia?! Death collection people! I saw over on Pinstar’s rules that for the 10 babies in one generation you can move the older kids out when they are teenagers (in the comments, not the actual post) and since an heir has not been chosen, all those teens better be extra vigilant because we still have 7 death types to gain.

Sylvia was first for no particular reason. She annoyed me more than the others because she glitched and was constantly taking the toddlers to the potty (that was ages ago, man do I hold a grudge)

I say “first” like I plan to kill them all. I promise most of them will survive.

I bet you thought I’d get straight on the baby train – but no! We have one space in the house at current and Advik has an aspiration that requires one of his children to get married and have kids. This is Haylet Whitt, Raymond’s sweetheart.

Things got interesting when Hayley rejected Raymond’s proposal and it was here I found out she is noncommittal. We had to change our plan a little.

I’ll also say here that Bernadette and Raymond both completed the Mansion Baron aspiration – however I doubt the family can now afford to pay the next lot of bills.

Fun fact: They could not!  So after reaping the aspirational benefits I sold all of the pre-made rooms I had plonked in the basement to get the house value up. I think we’ve lost a lot of money doing it this way but it’s happened now.

Hayley became pregnant! So Raymond moved out. He and Hayley live in the household with the other spare Munch siblings (from Generation Five: Fable the alien and Generation Six Desmond and Theodore) and they later had twins Ed and Gia Whitt – technically the first babies of Generation 8!

Still no new Gen 7 babies as we turn our attention to the collections because we are so close to completing so many.

Cameron and Nicholas celebrated a birthday to Young Adult! They survived their teen years (only just by the by, I did tempt fate playing with getting certain emotions to the extreme) and Cameron moved out straight after his birthday party. Raymond never married Hayley and Advik still wants to see one of his children marry. Cameron is Unflirty and Hates Chidlren so he’s out of the run for next heir and that task.

While we have a picture of a birthday cake, I’ll share all the birthday medals this part: Gold x1, Silver x4

However Nicholas went on a date with Boy Jackson (I believe I got him from the gallery in an all male household when I was looking for potential suitors for Bernadette) and proposed on that first date! I was about to perform an elaborate wedding ceremony but couldn’t wait so these two got married on the porch.

And now we can turn our attention back to Advik and Bernadette. Their first four children are no longer around: Raymond moved in with his partner and had kids, Sylvia died by Cow Plant, Cameron moved out since there were too many children in this household and Nicholas got married then immediately went to find their first home together.

The nest is looking a little empty.

Quinnell and Ywain are still about, though they have no skills and I abandoned their aspirations. They are going to make excellent care givers to their younger siblings as I have a lot of fertility perks in effect so we’re hoping for a lot of fresh faces!

Speaking of which. I send Advik and Bernadette to get that underway.

The Munch Legacy 6.2

We currently have a full Munch household. Elders Vanessa and Rohan (Gen 5) their daughter Bernadette and her husband Advik (Gen 6) and the very young Raymond, Sylvia and twins Cameron and Nicholas (Gen 7). We are trying to have 10 kids for Generation 7 – which sadly means that the first four are incredibly likely to just be spares as we move them out of the house as soon as possible to make room for more children.

Of course with lots of young toddlers comes lots of birthdays. The first was Raymond here. I haven’t got a picture of everyone’s because that’s just not how we roll here.

I did keep count of the birthday medals for this part though: Gold x3, Silver x3

Rohan almost died. We plea for his life and won! I know I should be making more space for more babies but also at this point there were three toddlers to care for and Rohan is the main caregiver as the other adults focus on their jobs and skills.

It’s funny because after Rohan survived death a few sims in the household (Bernadette and Raymond) still got the sad moodlet for witnessing a death. I’m telling you guys, it is so close to glitching up something terrible. I think it’s when it’s a full house.

Rohan did manage to max Dancing while on toddler watch.

Rohan died for real the next time I entered the game, his second chance in life did not get him far. This time he died right in front of all the young children too. He knows how to make an exit, that’s for sure.

The house was extremely sad for a little while. But soon our four little Munchlings were children. I was a bit sad too  because as children they all look incredibly similar and I expected so much more variation considering the colourful Munch  family tree and Advik’s interesting face.

Kid achievements!

• Raymond maxed Motor skill and completed the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration
• Sylvia maxed Imagination skill and Potty as a toddler then she maxed the Creativity skill and completed her Artistic Prodigy aspiration
• Cameron also maxed the Creativity skill and completed his Artistic Prodigy aspiration
• Nicholas maxed Mental skill and completed the Whiz Kid aspiration

I’m not proud of this. We’ll get to the photo soon but lets just talk about Vanessa for a sec.

Vanessa maxed Charisma and maxed her Social Media career! That’s two careers she was manage to top when I normally struggle to do one. I think the new careers from City Living are easier to accomplish with the work from home option though.

She then maxed Fitness much quicker than I expected. Knowing my luck I 100% expected her to die from old age before completing all these amazing things. Then after completing these things she had nothing left to do. And I wanted room in the house for more babies.

Vanessa drowns. I killed her. I’m so sorry. But we need this for the death collection point and she honestly had nothing else to do. I was scared to leave her on her own in case I missed her death.

With Vanessa and Rohan out of the house, Bernadette and Advik became parents once more! Another pair of twin boys: Quinnell and Ywain were born to generation 7. Of course, the older kids were also growing up – that’s Raymond as a teenager. I swooned. It would appear these guys keep their genetics hidden until puberty, Raymond went from such a bland same-ish-to-his-siblings face to almost the double of Advik.

As toddlers Ywain (the one playing with Raymond) maxed Imagination and Pott while Quinnell maxed Movement and Potty.

Even with new babies and careers, the parents of this generation still got stuff done!

Bernadette and Advik dates: Gold x1, Silver x1

They both drank a Potion of Youth too, but at different times. Advik is older by about a sim week and Bernadette had hers very close to the end of this play session meaning we have all her YA and Adult lifespan to move out the kids and make 4 more – easy!

Bernadette maxed Gardening skill and completed her Gardening aspiration! She moved on to Mansion Baron. Her completing the Gardening skill marks the Munch family as maxing every skill at least  once! Unless I get any new EPS – in that situation I’ve decided I might still count this point anyway but no doubt I’ll rush around trying to max any new skills.

That point also marks The Munch Family reaching 70 points! My A grade equivalent! It just means it’s going to be harder from here on in to get those last 30 points. An A* is only 75% as well, so?

We’re six kids in and Bernadette has so much of her lifespan left that I think we might actually be successful in our 10 baby quest. Presuming I haven’t just jinxed it, HA.

Thanks everyone for the continued support – this is so far from what I originally wanted (narrative/observation blend) but I find this short and to the point writing  style less daunting making updates easy! I never play too far ahead so I never have loads to catch up on.

The Munch Legacy 6.1

So I have royally messed up the order of things in my Munch Legacy in terms of parts and the natural stopping points. Let’s do a quick recap:

Blue skined Vanessa and Rohan there are our heir and spouse of Generation 5. They’re still so young despite having 3 YA kids. Pregnant Bernadette there is their middle child and was crowned Generation 6’s heir. Bernadette’s boyfriend Advik Anand moved in and is the daddy to the soon to be born first child of Generation 7!

That’s a lot of information to process for the start of a new generation. Normally, I use the .1 to tell the love story of the heir and spouse, waiting until .2 to bring about the babies. However, we’re trying for 10 kids here and speed is key.

However, the Generation 6 pair are yet to be married and their story is sweet even though I’m not documenting it. Teen lovers who moved in and wanted nothing more than a simple wedding.  I held out for this part to bring you the glorious wedding. Heavily pregnant and at one point I thought the game had glitched again, but they became Bernadette and Advik Munch!

They had a pre-wedding date: Gold x1 and the wedding itself scored a Silver medal.

Very soon after, baby boy Raymond Munch was born! The first of ten (if we keep saying it, it will happen) and of Generation Seven!

We celebrated Rohan’s birthday with a party! I actually remembered him this time and the party earned a silver medal.

Rohan maxed the Rocket Science skill too and is slowly climbing his politician career (he’s level 9 in it, his only goal before death is to max that career)

Raymond grew up to a toddler and soon we welcomed the next Munch child – despite having fertility it was just the one baby girl: Sylvia Munch.

Whilst pregnant, Bernadette maxed the Dancing skill.

And as you can see Raymond became a cute toddler. He maxed Imagination and the Potty skill.

Vanessa painted Bernadette and Advik’s portraits. You’ll note there are no graves – I moved Sebastian and Yadira’s (Generation 4) to the family inventory because I don’t think my game can handle ghosts. It’s like one bad thought away from majorly glitching again.

She painted them when she was on level 9 of the skill, soon after she maxed Painting skill as well as the Photography skill!

Vanessa then joined the ranks of the elders. Her birthday scored a Silver medal. (This was actually the photograph where she maxed the photography skill)

Rohan, that beautiful, beautiful man, maxed his political career, getting promoted to Charity Icon!

Bernadette was soon pregnant again and gave birth to Cameron and Nicholas Munch! Finally, twins! That makes a full house and a natural pause for Bernadette and the making of babies as well as this part.

This gives Bernadette a chance to focus on her career as well as raise Raymond, Sylvia, Cameron and Nicholas. We can continue with our goal of ten children once Rohan and Vanessa have passed – not that I’m looking forward to that, but Rohan does only have a few days left.

This has been an absolute full on part, I apologise! Next time, I predict the house will get a little emptier of Generation Five and we’ll see Generation Seven grow up with maybe a few babies to be added to the ranks.
