BACC Rotation 6 P. Kay

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 6

P. Kay

 photo Screenshot-1292.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1293.jpg

Welcome welcome back to Autumnwatch!
I mean you’ve hardly been away what with all the updates but I never know how to start these things.
I wasn’t originally going to post this today but I’m going to get busy soon so I thought I might as well indulge you all one more time before I go away to London for the weekend.

This is Peter Kay’s tiny little abode. We last saw him in the Kay rotation when he moved out. Well this is where he went. He’s looking for a lovely lady to share this shack with.

He also moved out with Lia, a kitten, so she is around there somewhere too.

 photo Screenshot-1294.jpg

Just a quick reminder to show you what Peter looks like. Yes, very nice. The first day was a little slow.
Let’s look in that relationship panel and see who will be your wife!

Originally I had planned someone in the neighbourhood named Li Lo, but it appears I will be saving her for a rainy day.

 photo Screenshot-1295.jpg photo Screenshot-1296.jpg photo Screenshot-1297.jpg photo Screenshot-1298.jpg

Instead meet Sage Oxendine. I had originally wanted her to get close with Red (Peter’s brother and heir* of the Kay household) but I like her last name too much. I want an Oxendine household, and I want it to be this household.

*By ‘heir’ I mean prisoner, stuck in that household

 photo Screenshot-1299.jpg photo Screenshot-1300.jpg

So that happens! Meet Peter and Sage Oxendine!

On moving in, I realised Sage is 3 or 4 days away from elderhood, but for real this time. This isn’t like the time I thought Alani Shepherd was getting old and was pleasantly surprised when she was only becoming an adult, I double checked: Sage is getting old and fast.

 photo Screenshot-1301.jpg

So, to give the Oxendine name a chance of survival (and using fertility treatment of course) Peter and Sage make a lullaby.

 photo Screenshot-1302.jpg

I also adopted a friend for Lia since she was needing human interaction a lot. This is Tink and will be Lia’s playmate and maybe more if I get interested in the cats again.

He does have interesting markings and I do plan on having a cattery in one of the households…

 photo Screenshot-1303.jpg photo Screenshot-1304.jpg

After a normal day of working hard, Sage pops!

 photo Screenshot-1305.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1306.jpg

Then not a lot happens and she gives birth to a boy. Predictable.

Meet Finley Oxendine. The one and only Oxendine heir! I was going to lie to you all and let Sage have another child straight after but you know what, no. I wanted to be straight with you guys. More honesty points for me.

Honest points are just unofficial but I have 2 now, surely I can cash this in for an extra 100 Sim Multipler points? Fair? Cool, thanks guys, your silence confirms it all.

 photo Screenshot-1307.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1308.jpg

It also happens on Lia’s birthday, so isn’t that special! I like Lia for her markings as well, even if she is a clone of her parents.

 photo Screenshot-1309.jpg

This is their dreary little house. I checked the family inventory and again found a lot of wedding gifts which we sold.
The people of Autumnwatch sure are generous when it comes to wedding gifts.

 photo Screenshot-1310.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1311.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1312.jpg

Boom. Look at the Oxendine’s place now. They have the fanciest looking house in the city!

In hindsight, yeah maybe I could have got a resort to give these guys an income, but for now they are surviving on Peter’s royalties and the wedding gifts.
Obviously the house is a work in process, but hopefully it will stay largely unchanged for future generations.

 photo Screenshot-1314.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1315.jpg

Sage then grows up into an elder making Finley the official one and only heir to the big house and Oxendine name. I had moments when I was tempted to just bend those shiny rules, but I didn’t.
I also considered letting Peter have another kid with another woman but then it wouldn’t really be an Oxendine kid. Maybe he’ll just have to get abducted by aliens?

 photo Screenshot-1316.jpg photo Screenshot-1317.jpg

Tink has a birthday that night too…. You know its a good day when the cats are having birthdays.

Tink and Lia will have to have kittens now, what will I write about if I don’t have birthdays and pregnancies to document?!

 photo Screenshot-1318.jpg

As well as Finley. Triple birthday bonanza!
Interesting kid, he looks very proper. Already ready for being an only child and bearing the Oxendine name.

 photo Screenshot-1319.jpg

I think the kittens of these two will have interesting markings and then I could breed those kittens with other kittens in the neighbourhood to make one super cat!

But that will be next rotation most likely. We shall see. If they have them now they’ll just be given away when I go so there is no point getting attached.

 photo Screenshot-1320.jpg

I feel sorry for Peter, dislikes children and technophobe are two of his traits yet he takes care of Finley a lot and makes a living writing novels on a computer. Oh well, let’s now tax his household a whopping $2,600 and move on! Next rotation this household will be named Oxendine rather than P.Kay. Exciting!

By the way, both Sage and Peter completed their LTWs so that was exciting. Peter’s was to have $4,000 in book royalties which he has completed and Sage’s was to have $50,000 cash in hand for the household which they got on the wedding gifts.

BACC Rotation 6 Shepherd

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 6

Shepherd

 photo Screenshot-1272.jpg

Welcome back to the Shepherd’s, home to Alani and Benny!

They haven’t adopted any stray cats in my absence and are pretty much the same as I left them apart from them both having jobs in the Science career. I made them quit immediately.

 photo Screenshot-1273.jpg

And a new member is on the way! What else was going to follow that photo of them canoodling?
I figured I should do it now since it is so close to Alani’s birthday and I’m very interested in what these kids will look like.

 photo Screenshot-1274.jpg

Shepherd’s Inn gets a massive makeover.
I looked in the family inventory and there was a bunch of wedding gifts, so I sold them and earned over $50,000.
Just to confirm that I have been deleting the tax money objects through testingcheatsenabled true so all of this money is legal.

It has been bumped up to 4 stars!

 photo Screenshot-1275.jpg photo Screenshot-1276.jpg photo Screenshot-1277.jpg

Benny is Mean Spirited so constantly wants to start a fight. Luckily labour began before anything serious could happen!

Meet Miles Shepherd.

How many sims have even been born in this neighbourhood?
Harvey, Peter, Red and Arthur Kay makes 4, then over in the Slade’s we have Thomas and Daisy Slade as well as Gilbert Slade-Kay which is another 3 to make 7… The Friend’s have had Neptune Serrano, Dexter and Isaac Friend making 3 totaling 10 but they are also expecting another so we’ll have to check that out.

So that makes Miles here the 11th sim born in Autumnwatch? 9 more babies and we can have a hospital.
(Although, when writing this I wasn’t aware of the NIF Challenge which I’ll start to encorporate later down the line, but with the hospital baby thing I think once I hit 20 baby births this will allow us to buy the hospital maybe? Work in progress)

 photo Screenshot-1278.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1279.jpg

Then it was Alani’s birthday but I swear it was into Elderhood when I last checked which is why I rushed the pregnancy. Oh well, another 21 days to make more babies!

Expect some more Shepherd boys (my game has completely forgotten about giving me females)

 photo Screenshot-1280.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1282.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1281.jpg

Benny goes to visit the Friend household since he and Avery are chums and Moonbeam had her babies! That is right, twins! The first successful twins – trust me I’ve been trying, Miles was supposed to be more than one baby (scroll up and see the two cribs I bought in excitement!)

A boy and a girl! The first human (even if Moonbeam is an Imaginary Friend) girl!
They were given really lame names so I’m going to have to rename them later, but we’ll leave that for the Friend household.

Man, am I regretting Baby Boom Scheme now, I have to raise all these munchkins.

 photo Screenshot-1283.jpg

I also noticed in the friend panel that Alani had a romantic interest and it was Davin Kay!!

I was going to pursue this a little because that would be crazy but Alani hated him for cheating on her.
Yeah, Davin cheated on you with Lorna.
Right. Get out Alani, who even are you? Pipe down, you’ve been here two rotations or something. Homewrecker.

 photo Screenshot-1284.jpg

I wanted two Shepherd babies and I will get two Shepherd babies!

 photo Screenshot-1285.jpg photo Screenshot-1286.jpg

I’d like to show you the first house in Autumnwatch with actual wallpaper, or stones in this case, on the outside of the house. Another quick renovation.

The Shepherd’s earn money through books by the way, Benny must have about 10 complete books which sell pretty well. Then there is also their pimped out resort.

 photo Screenshot-1287.jpg

Miles grows up into a toddler and isn’t he just the cutest little thing :3
Possibly my favourite so far? I don’t know, I can’t commit to that comment.
I’m now very excited about the Shepherd’s offspring!

 photo Screenshot-1288.jpg

The Shepherd’s also decide to buy another resort. This is Eco-Shep, it’s currently not very good. It is genuinely a piece of land with a desk.

+1 when you reach a total of 5 community lots” (TS3 BACC)

And Eco-Shep makes 5 community lots giving us another Sim Multipler point! As well as a CAS point for getting another community lot. I’m going to have to start using those soon!

 photo Screenshot-1289.jpg photo Screenshot-1290.jpg photo Screenshot-1291.jpg

Whilst trying to skill Miles, Alani gives birth to a baby boy: Joseph Shepherd! 14th baby of Autumnwatch – 6 to go!

And so ends the Shepherd’s rotation! Also, just fyi I am adding the Friend twins to the number of playable sims since they will be and, I suppose, technically are playable. I’ll reveal their decided names on the Friend rotation though, just in case I change my mind. Until then I may just refer to them as Boy-twin and Girl-Twin Friend (names which I like a lot, maybe that will just be their legal name)

The family is taxed $3,100, most of that is value from Shepherd’s Inn.

BACC Rotation 6 Friend

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 6

Friend

 photo Screenshot-1256.jpg

Welcome to the Friend household!
This is only the second rotation playing them but they are a big family! Previously, you may remember (since I never shut up about it) Avery Serrano was abducted by aliens and had Neptune Serrano. He then married Moonbeam and they had Dexter.

 photo Screenshot-1257.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1258.jpg

And this household is about to get a lot bigger!

I was counting up my playable sims and it is too low a number. I want 100 population very soon in order to unlock another career. So I’m initiating my baby boom scheme where a lot of these households are going to have children; like the Slade’s brought in some new babies, now the Friend’s and it is highly likely all households to follow will also be making nooboos.

Operation Baby Boom is a go go.

 photo Screenshot-1266.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1259.jpg

Avery has somehow managed to get up to Level 5 in his science career. I suppose this is a bonus in TS3 in that they still do stuff when I’m not there, sometimes it is bad like adopting all the cats ever (although I’ve just noticed the Friends haven’t done that!!) but mostly it is good like making friends and earning promotions apparently.

Yes that is Alani Shepherd next to him, all of the sims in the city are getting jobs in Science but I’ll make Alani quit the second I get to her household just like I made Davin Kay and Mollie Slade quit the science career too.
Sneaky sims, they don’t even know the rules.

 photo Screenshot-1260.jpg

This is Neptune’s mama! We invited her in and tried to befriend her until she ran off.

I just want her to abduct our Avery again :(

 photo Screenshot-1261.jpg photo Screenshot-1262.jpg

Neptune is fantastically cute! Here she is as a toddler.
I forgot it was her birthday in the evening so grew her up on the morning.

 photo Screenshot-1263.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1265.jpg

Moonbeam goes into labour again and we have another boy, Isaac Friend.

I know we all just expect boys now and there is no point in complaining, it’s simply not funny anymore. However I was genuinely convinced Moonbeam was going to give us a girl.
Still no human girl babies born and we are 6 rotations in. What is even happening.

 photo Screenshot-1264.jpg

Since there is only a day between Neptune and Dexter, Dexter grows up very soon after Neptune. Actually during the birth of his brother.

 photo Screenshot-1267.jpg

Three days later and Isaac becomes a toddler too!
Not a lot happens. Moonbeam is main carer for the kids and skills and sleeps if she isnt caring for them. Avery works and then manages his garden and works on getting that last skill point so he can master the Athletic skill.

 photo Screenshot-1268.jpg

Cuties and their dollies.

Special friends, but I have no potions to make them real yet. Maybe soon though. Note to self: buy chemistry set for Friend household.

 photo Screenshot-1269.jpg

At some point I changed Avery’s LTW from Master Acrobat to Surrounded by Family and gave him the fertility treatment. MORE NOOBOOS!

We’re nearing the end of the rotation though so this is an experiment. I’m wondering if Moonbeam will just have the kids so next time we’ll have one or two new nooboos to coo over, OR, if she’ll just stay pregnant for a few weeks. I have the feeling she’ll just have them but I was surprised at the Slade’s when Mollie didn’t just pick Daisy earlier. But that might be different seeing as Daisy is a plant and what not.

 photo Screenshot-1270.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1271.jpg

To end the rotation, Neptune Serrano grows into a cute child with green hair. I love that hair colour.
For a fleeting moment the other day I was like ‘I know! Neptune Serrano can marry one of those Friend kids’ – it was fleeting because a second later I was like, ‘oh no…. they are already related. She’ll have to settle for a Kay boy or a Slade’

Anyway, this household was taxed $425 and we shall move on to the next household!

BACC Rotation 6 Slade

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 6

Slade

 photo Screenshot-1228.jpg

Today I am doing a double update! I feel like I’m playing too far ahead so I forget things and get confused easily.

Hello again mighty Slade household! What’s this? New cats? I am not even suprised in the slightest.
Last time Harvey Kay and Mollie Slade got close so she was constantly giving me pop ups like “my cat’s just given birth, want a kitten?”
Cheers Mollie but we have enough cats in the Kay household as it is. I got rid of all of the cats bar Forest from the Slade household – he’s the one with the brown head marking (Hazel was kept last time but she is getting pretty old and was more annoying than Forest)

In the Slade household it is just Mollie Slade and her son Thomas Slade (from her first marriage, oh we all remember that episode don’t we! Du-RAMA) But not for long.

 photo Screenshot-1229.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1230.jpg

The Forbidden Fruit was picked and Mollie successfully harvested Daisy Slade!
That’s probably the correct way to say it? Harvest a child?

Anyway, it is Autumnwatch’s first Plantsim and also a girl! Apparently to have girls we need supernaturals. All the human babies have been boys up to this part and the only other girl baby in the city is alien Neptune Serrano.

Daisy is the 8th sim born in the city!

 photo Screenshot-1231.jpg

That is not the only new addition to the household. Apart from wanting to grow another Forbidden Fruit, Mollie wants to get serious with any sim with a pulse Harvey Kay.

This escalated quickly…

 photo Screenshot-1232.jpg photo Screenshot-1233.jpg photo Screenshot-1234.jpg

Mollie Slade and Harvey Kay! I changed his name back to Kay even though they are married.

I want for you readers (and me eventually once everything gets messy) to identify who came from where when it comes to two households joining together. Any children these two have will have the surname Slade-Kay.

However if they marry a townie or CAS sim – which is what Harvey’s brothers are most likely to do – then they might absorb the townie’s name, especially if they are in a new household.

Forget this. It is getting confusing when I write it down. Just trust that I have some kind of system.

 photo Screenshot-1235.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1236.jpg

I then do my first proper renovation to a household. They had a bit of income from the wedding and Mollie had a tonne of fruit in her inventory to sell so they have a nice big household now.

Also, you can see it in the first photo, but that little white blip of a cat is Mags from the Kay household. Harvey moved in with her and I’m hoping they will become firm friends and we can get kittens that aren’t practically clones of one another.

 photo Screenshot-1237.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1238.jpg

Let’s make a Slade-Kay baby!
I’m cringing but I don’t know why. This is allowed to happen. I think it’s because I know Mollie is considerably older than Harvey. Like, Harvey had just aged up to a child when Mollie joined the neighbourhood…

 photo Screenshot-1239.jpg

No turning back now guys!

 photo Screenshot-1240.jpg

I also decide on some other new nooboos to join the household. Except Forest and Mags’ kittens will not be clones of the parents like every other cat every featured in this BaCC.
I could go out and say these kittens will be the first wanted cats of the challenge but they aren’t really.
I want pink and blue cats.

 photo Screenshot-1241.jpg

Thomas’ Imaginary Friend also comes out to play. Get back in the inventory Fizzberry. Come back when Thomas figures out that potion.

 photo Screenshot-1242.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1243.jpg

Daisy Slade becomes a toddler, such a cutie pie.
Also, there will be a lot of outdoors photos because they can’t seem to function in the new layout and have to interact with cats and toddlers outside in this spot. I had to add a back door later as it was taking to much time to watch them walk all the way around the house.

 photo Screenshot-1244.jpg

Woah, sorry. This is just cat spam. Sometimes my boyfriend hears the cats in the game and I have to watch them for ages because he loves cats.

 photo Screenshot-1245.jpg

Daisy might be one of the first sims to be fully trained as a toddler.
Note, outdoors. You can’t make this stuff up!

 photo Screenshot-1246.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1247.jpg

Finally the moment approaches, meet another boy: Gilbert Slade-Kay!
This is getting out of hand how many boys there are. Where is the population control cheat? Or the sprout some watermelons out of thin air cheat?

 photo Screenshot-1248.jpg

I love Daisy, sometimes I just watch her.
Creeeeeeeeeep.

 photo Screenshot-1249.jpg

I got a pop up that Mags had her kittens but they weren’t right next to her so I was confused. Where do cats even come from? Is there a cat stork?

Also I thought it was funny how it looks like Mollie and Harvey are like way to go Mags, take a crap in that litter box.

 photo Screenshot-1250.jpg photo Screenshot-1251.jpg

In all honesty the kittens are wonderfully cute. They both got the right amount of genetic information from each parent. The first one is a girl, Cleo, and the second slimmer coated one is a boy, Grim.

Nice one computer. Cats get to have an even number of boys and girls but I get 80% boys.

 photo Screenshot-1252.jpg

So cute :3
Maybe I can breed all of the cats together in the neighbourhood. I’m just presuming that every family ever will adopt cats when I’m not looking. Also, I will be moving in some interesting cats eventually and maybe have a household dedicated to the cats of the city.

So far the only mingling of genes between household cats is this. So Cleo and Grim are Slade-Kay cats technically :)

 photo Screenshot-1253.jpg

Eventually! I was wondering when one of you sleep-deprived fools would start a fire. Thanks Mollie, I needed this.

 photo Screenshot-1254.jpg photo Screenshot-1255.jpg

And then it is Gilbert’s birthday! Here he is as a toddler. You know he isn’t all that bad.
I hadn’t planned for Mollie and Harvey to have another child because I was expecting, you know, three eyes and six extra fingers but Gilbert is cute. I want Mollie to have another plant baby first since I want, nay, need more girls. And the only way to do that is through supernatural reproduction.
Spoiler alert: on the last day of rotation she planted a forbidden fruit.

Also, I’m not even making my sims eat apples in any shape way or form. I don’t think any of them even grow apples. Mollie has a lime tree, not apple tree.

Anyway, before we go crazy, this household is taxed $1060 and we shall be moving onto the Friend household.
I smell a baby boom rotation as I really want to push the population up.

BACC Rotation 6 Kay

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 6

Kay

 photo Screenshot-1203.jpg

Let’s get back to that founding family we love so much. That crazy family that, the second my back is turned, go out and get more kittens. This time I’m not even going to fight it, Mags and Lia welcome to the family, you little fluff balls.

In the Kay household we can see here young Arthur (of Camelot?! I know what his resort will be called), Harvey freaking out about the cats and Peter there in the background just being Peter I suppose.
Not pictured are the parents and founders Lorna and Davin and their other son Red. The important Kay trio.

Also, fun little fact for you all, I’ve checked the relationship panels of these crafty sims and they know a lot of cats/kittens that look like this bunch so they have been getting loads of kittens but also getting rid of them. Interesting, eh?

 photo Screenshot-1204.jpg

I found Lorna over at the Friend’s house, apparently she is big friends with the Friend’s :3
Okay Lorna enough, put that nooboo down and go home.

 photo Screenshot-1205.jpg

Red was also out and since it was the middle of the night when I switched household he got arrested for being at the Slade household.

 photo Screenshot-1206.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1207.jpg

Speaking of being at the Slade household… Hey there Harvey, at the Slade house, flirting with old Mollie.

So I had this idea of letting Mollie die alone but that seems sad especially since last I played her she had the want to get married. And I have tonnes of Kay boys so I thought I’d let the two first households start to mix genes or whatever.

 photo Screenshot-1208.jpg

I’m planning for Harvey to move in with Mollie in her rotation. It will stay the Slade household and Harvey will always be Harvey Kay but their kids (if they have any) will be Slade-Kay’s or Kay-Slade’s.

 photo Screenshot-1209.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1210.jpg

Lorna gracefully ages into an elder.

 photo Screenshot-1211.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1212.jpg

Red maximises Logic! That means that when he becomes a YA he will open another position in the science career. A position he has clearly worked hard for so he will be having that.

I’ll mark it in that stats bit below when he actually becomes a YA.

 photo Screenshot-1213.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1214.jpg

That next night another birthday! Davin joins Lorna in elderhood, and just like that I suddenly have three elders in this town.

 photo Screenshot-1215.jpg

I don’t know how other BACC’s do their renovations but I just do them when I please like a mentalist.
I finally got beds for the boys, that is right, in 6 rotations I haven’t even bought beds for my children. They slept in sleeping bags this whole time.

 photo Screenshot-1216.jpg

This is a special shot indeed. Lorna completes all of the challenges associated with the Gardening skill and this is her just about to max it. I’m very happy, however the hard work does not stop there. I just need you, Lorna dearest, to pick another 4000 items, 2100 of which that are perfect and then make some more money whilst you’re at it, then we can open up a grocery store!

I know she is an Elder and it seems impossible but I looked in her inventory and she has a death flower so that buys me some time.

 photo Screenshot-1217.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1218.jpg

Another birthday! My my, it’s like having toddlers in the household again with all these birthday shots.
This time it is Peter who is growing up into a YA!

 photo Screenshot-1219.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1220.jpg

Now that Peter is a YA he is off out to explore the world! We’ll see him again at the end of this rotation.
His new household will be called P. Kay until he get’s married and takes his wife’s surname (I already have her picked out) and I think this is acceptable enough to ease my OCD about how the household names look.

Also, the blokes mainly take the woman’s surname because I have so many playable blokes! I’m not like super feminist like YEAH GO GIRL POWER, it’s genuinely due to the fact that the this town has only produced one female naturally and they were a supernatural (Neptune Serrano, I’m looking at you)

 photo Screenshot-1221.jpg

Another birthday, Arthur grows up. The fourth and youngest Kay baby is largely ignored. I was going to make up for it by letting him be ‘heir’ and stay in the household but instead I’ll make him a CAS lady to live with. I think that is fair.

Instead Red will be living in the Kay household!

 photo Screenshot-1222.jpg

I’ve also decided that I’m going to be a bit more proactive with the cats. For starters I made them a room and locked them in so they stop clawing at the furniture. It has access to the outside too.

Proactive!

 photo Screenshot-1223.jpg

I socialise Harvey and Threepio (3PO) until they are BFFs because Harvey isn’t doing much in the household really.

 photo Screenshot-1224.jpg

Then I finally decided to try and actually have some kittens between R2 and 3PO
This is the last day of rotation though so hopefully on my return there will be kittens in the Kay household, but they will be kittens that I want.

 photo Screenshot-1225.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1226.jpg

Kitten Mags grows up into an adult cat giving me my 5th playable adult cat! Cats I didn’t want to unlock the Cat Jungle which I barely use anyway. So that is super.

 photo Screenshot-1227.jpg

In this household the cats are Mags, 3PO and R2 and then there is also Hazel and Forest in the Slade household. Also I just realised what I missed in the last part. With 4 households a space in the military has opened, however we don’t have the military grounds but I’m starting to presume a lot of the career rabbit holes are unlocked when you meet the criteria for the corresponding career.

So now we have to get another three households before we can get that community lot, or you know I could get the Cat Jungle.

The Kay’s are taxed a whopping $2260

BACC Rotation 5 Shepherd

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 5

Shepherd

 photo Screenshot-1188.jpg

Welcome back! I appreciate you all staying with me this far :)

First run through with the Shepherd’s, but aren’t they familiar. Benny Slade and homewrecker Alani Shepherd featured in this rotation of the Slade household. What a carry on, eh?

But now they are the richest sims in Autumnwatch! Clearly, look at that dining table and all those windows! The Friend household still don’t even have windows.

The Shepherd’s are suffering due to the Friend’s wonderfully interesting week which over ran by a day or two. So to get things back on track, I’ll be playing these till Saturday to get the rota correct. They did cause a commotion in the Slade chapter so I don’t think I’ll be doing anything really interesting with them this rotation.

But I’m sure I’ve said that before and had an alien baby … whaaaaat?

 photo Screenshot-1187.jpg

Just so you know Alani is the sim that has been singing on every lot since the dawn of time. She quit this career since I haven’t determined what allows this to be unlocked.

Then I quit and saved game and came back to this:

 photo Screenshot-1189.jpg

Alani seems to have sunk in the floor. And at quite an important event for this household as I wanted to make Benny Slade to Benny Shepherd.

This next bit was supposed to be called the Romance of Benny and Alani but instead it is call Benny’s Inappropriate Relationship with the Plumbob.

 photo Screenshot-1190.jpg photo Screenshot-1191.jpg photo Screenshot-1192.jpg photo Screenshot-1193.jpg photo Screenshot-1194.jpg

Go home Benny, you are drunk. This is inappropriate in so many ways.

 photo Screenshot-1195.jpg

Alani reappeared later, thank God. Imagine having to do that the whole time. Just showing you a plumbob whenever Alani is pregnant or doing anything whatsoever. And all of Benny’s inappropriate touching of the groinal region…

But that was them technically getting married! So I introduce to you Alani and Benny Shepherd.

 photo Screenshot-1196.jpg

Moving swiftly on!

I decided for another community lot! This resort is called Shepherd’s Inn and even though it looks a lot fancier than the other resorts it has zero stars.

New community lot = another CAS point!
I don’t even know what I’m saving them for. I want to put my simself in but I have to wait for the medical career to open and city hall too.

I’ve decided, as in this part I am making some executive decisions, that if 20 graves unlocks the graveyard then 20 births should unlock the hospital – for it to be put down in the neighbourhood not for the medical career.

(How many births have I even had? 4 with the Kay’s, 1 with Mollie Slade and 2 at the Friend’s = 7 births. So I’m still a way away really)

 photo Screenshot-1197.jpg

These guys are just skilling like villains.

I’ve been thinking about some of the rules and etc and I’m amending some. For example, TS3 rule says

Bookstore:
Unlocked with a population of 1,000. This earns you 1 CAS Sim. [You don’t have to add the new Sims as you earn them. You can save up and add whole families if you choose.]

But I think too much happens at 1,000 population and it is going to be overwhelming. So I’m also going to add that the bookstore is unlocked when there have been 1,000 books written, collectively, or 1,000 population depending on which comes first. It’s still just as mental because I’m sure the city has written 50 books collectively if that but I’m sure a starting city would be like:
“Hey we have a lot of books, where shall we put them?”
“I don’t know, a book… store?”
Or maybe a library?

 photo Screenshot-1198.jpg

Another electrocution.

Look at that water. Inappropriately flooding everywhere but the place where I could have accidentally killed Alani.
I want to play fast and loose with my sims and kill them before I plan on killing them if you know what I mean?

 photo Screenshot-1199.jpg

Alani is level 9 at cooking and so close to maxing that skill that I’ve decided to amend a teeny rule.

TS3 rules say:

AS LONG AS THERE IS AN EARNED COMMUNITY LOT AVAILABLE, you can:
* Add certain lot types at any time (Parks, Beaches, Empty Lots, Hogan’s Deep Fried Diner)

But I’m not going to add the Hogan’s Deep Fried Diner (or equivalent) until Alani, or one other sim, has maxed the cooking skill. Like parks and stuff I get that you can just plonk them down willy nilly but the diner, to me, is on a different platform to parks and stuff since it can offer a career. So that is my plan.

When she completes all the challenges (which she has already completed one of) then the career will open.

We still have to get enough households to be able to unlock it anyway so for now it’s not really a massive issue.

 photo Screenshot-1200.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1201.jpg

Then Benny boy has a birthday and it is into elderhood! If he and Alani want kids it’ll have to be soon.

 photo Screenshot-1202.jpg

And just another shot of the household, it’s pretty unchanged. But this is the end of Rotation 5! How time flies eh.
Next Rotation we’ll have some new households, but I can’t even predict how many yet. Bring on Rotation 6!

This household was taxed a swift $1200 to add to the funds. I don’t even know what I’ll spend the funds on, more likely a university than an airport. But how much would a university cost? I don’t normally go on amazon to see how much I can buy them for. Also I’m thinking a system where the fees go towards the Tax Money fund thing. That seems fair.

*Head Count (I’m always paranoid about missing people out, so sometimes I might just list them here to just double check)
1. Lorna Kay, 2. Davin Kay, 3. Harvey Kay, 4. Peter Kay, 5. Red Kay, 6. Arthur Kay.
7. Mollie Slade, 8. Thomas Slade
9. Moonbeam Friend, 10. Avery Friend, 11. Dexter Friend, 12. Neptune Serrano
13. Benny Shepherd, 14. Alani Shepherd.

We’re cool guys! Let’s get on to that next rotation.

BACC Rotation 5 Friend

BACC

Autumnwatch Rotation 5

Friend

 photo Screenshot-1159.jpg

New household time! Moonbeam Friend, Harvey Kay’s Imaginary Friend, moved out of the Kay household and is out on her own. We didn’t really see much of her in the Kay household but now we get to see her loads!

I’m starting to realise all the plans I make for sims go out of the window so I’m not even going to bother telling you want I had planned as it is not even anything close to exciting as what happens.

 photo Screenshot-1161.jpg

Evan Noble has been around forever. So I thought maybe him and Moonbeam could have a thing.

 photo Screenshot-1162.jpg

But then I saw Avery Serrano and thought the same thing.

Serrano and Noble are cool last names so I’d like them to have households. Just so you know that is my long term plan, I want to have lots of different named households rather than, for example, Kay 2, 3 and 4 because you know what those bloody Kay’s are like.
Bunny rabbits, my friend. I want loads of different last names.

 photo Screenshot-1163.jpg

So things begin with Avery.

 photo Screenshot-1164.jpg

But then he leaves and an alien shows up so I was like, yes another suitor!
He literally left as soon as I took this so don’t expect Moonbeam to have any alien babies.

 photo Screenshot-1165.jpg

It is back to chasing Avery which is literally what Moonbeam had to do since he is a paparazzi. He wanders from resort to resort and Moonbeam chases him everywhere.

I just want you to move in Avery, Y U no like Moonbeam?

 photo Screenshot-1166.jpg

Eventually, Avery moves in.

Time to come clean and earn some honesty points. I testinghceatsenabled true and actively added him to the family. He kept running away from Moonbeam and it was driving me crazy. Everytime the option for Move in came in he must have smelt the tiny commitment and ran.

Funny, he doesn’t even have that as a trait. So that happened.

 photo Screenshot-1167.jpg photo Screenshot-1168.jpg

Things do not move forward romantically however. Which is a shame because there is only one double bed.

 photo Screenshot-1169.jpg

Both Moonbeam and Avery have the Athletic trait so they are going to be two of the five sims to max that in order to unlock the gym. Yay, a gym, the hub of social life for Autumnwatch – or at least will be… Eventually.

 photo Screenshot-1170.jpg photo Screenshot-1171.jpg

Jackpot! Moonbeam Friend and Avery Serrano get to boyfriend and girlfriend mode.
Good progress guys. That’s probably enough to keep me happy.

 photo Screenshot-1172.jpg photo Screenshot-1173.jpg

Avery! I am thrilled. Autumnwatch’s first successful alien abduction.
That’s right. Successful.

 photo Screenshot-1174.jpg

I was going to leave nooboos until the next rotation for these two since, honestly, I don’t have enough time to have a pregnant sim but since Avery is pregnant anyway…

 photo Screenshot-1175.jpg

The Friend-Serrano household has no way of making money, still, and they have two babies (at least) on the way. So I give Avery the one position in Science to help the little munchkins.

I did mention that I got the science building didn’t I? This particular model is from Twinbrook and it is only the Science career here unlike the hybrid ones in other neighbourhoods.

Just to confirm: Kay, Slade, Friend and Shepherd make 4 households = 1 community lot and thanks to the three electrocutions suffered in the Kay household the Friend household can get this job!

 photo Screenshot-1176.jpg photo Screenshot-1177.jpg

Why you waddling Avery, buddy? Hahaha.

Pregnant simmies. Exciting times!!

 photo Screenshot-1178.jpg

Even though they are pregnant they still work on maxing up the athletic skill for me.

Also, Avery is still just as thin even with the unexplained weight gain moodlet.

 photo Screenshot-1179.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1180.jpg

And welcome the first ever natural born girl (!!!!!!!)

Neptune Serrano, our first supernatural, our first girl. What an unexpected blessing you turned out to be.

 photo Screenshot-1181.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1182.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1183.jpg

Then Moonbeam and Avery rolled up wants to get married to each other. And I let them!

Moonbeam and Avery Friend. Neptune also inherited the Friend name but I’ll be changing that back to Serrano and she will not be staying in this household once she is a YA. It’s a win win, they got married and I got a Serrano household.

1 million CAS points says that the ‘heir’ for this household will be the son of these too.

 photo Screenshot-1184.jpg

Creepy face

 photo Screenshot-1185.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1186.jpg

So I’ll take my 1 million Cas points please. Okay, yeah of course I knew it was a boy because I’ve played it and now I’m writing it, b-doy. But I could tell even when she was still pregnant that the game hates me enough to not give me two girls. Well, we got one so that is a positive!

Anyway, meet Dexter Friend, the son of Moonbeam and Avery. And the household was taxed $300 because the house is still tiny.

I overplayed these guys, oops. I am meant to switch households on the Saturday evening at some point but it’s like Monday… Only because of the pregnancy and next is the Shepherd household and they’ve caused enough drama this rotation.

BACC Rotation 5 Slade

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 5

Slade

 photo Screenshot-1134.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1135.jpg

First things first, Forest grows up into an adult cat. He and Hazel occupy this household as pets. There was a new kitten (surprise surprise) called Mags or something but again, I just got rid of it almost straight away.
The Slade household is home to Mollie, Benny and nooboo son Thomas.

What a great family shot.

 photo Screenshot-1136.jpg

The first thing I did was buy Benny a telescope in hope of getting some supernaturals in the neighbourhood.

I’ve decided that after getting some supernaturals, I don’t know how many yet, will unlock some of the supernatural lots. For example, the first natural in game supernatural sim I’ll earn the arboretum, and then maybe after another so many I’ll earn the supernatural consignment store or something along those lines anyway. It’s just a work in progress.

 photo Screenshot-1137.jpg

I checked Benny’s and Mollie’s relationship panel and they are both really big pals with this woman, Alani Shepherd.
Like great friends, so I persue this relationship. Anything for some extra population.

The plan was to move her in and when their income is over 10k or so move her out.

 photo Screenshot-1138.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1139.jpg

I move her in, at first it was harmless. Just another headcount to my population but then she and Benny were really attracted to each other.
His relationship with Alani was better than it was with Mollie.

 photo Screenshot-1140.jpg

So I harmlessly tested the waters …

 photo Screenshot-1141.jpg

I had sent Mollie across to Slade’s Beach House but then she came back. I didn’t even see her come back, I was just like, shit.

 photo Screenshot-1142.jpg

So Mollie obviously cottoned on to the full blown affair at this point. They were moments from the ‘Try for a Baby’ option I had in the queue.

 photo Screenshot-1143.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1144.jpg

Alani’s face made me laugh, this isn’t a laughing matter. This isn’t what I planned whatsoever.

But look at the Slade house being interesting for a change. Well more interesting than I thought they could ever be.

 photo Screenshot-1145.jpg

That is Alani walking to the shower to try for a baby with BEnny, but Mollie interrupted again. Damnit girl, I thought I’d sent you away to pick flowers or something.

 photo Screenshot-1146.jpg

And then Mollie broke up with Benny. He’s like, “What are you gonna do?”
So he left with Alani to a new lot. Alani had just completed her LTW (apparently) by learning all the recipes ever so I gave her the inheritance lifetime reward and she and Benny took that money and moved literally a few doors down.

 photo Screenshot-1147.jpg

Heartbreaking stuff for Mollie Slade. On the plus side we now have four households this rotation! Kay, Slade, Friend and now Shepherd (I feel Benny should take Alani’s surname)

Soon I’ll be adding a community lot (most likely the science one since that is the only one available, really) thanks to that.

 photo Screenshot-1148.jpg

This all happened on the day of Thomas’ birthday, so he’s a miserable toddler now after witnessing a break up.

Miserable, but cute.

 photo Screenshot-1149.jpg

So Mollie has to train up her toddler and look after her garden.

But that isn’t the reason I took this shot. Mollie is planting a very special seed ;)

 photo Screenshot-1150.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1151.jpg

Mollie breaks the yolk of childhood and becomes an Adult!

She did it awkwardly against the wall so there is some nice half wall shots of the ugly room behind her.
Unless you didn’t notice that and this is now like the glass shattering and ruining these photographs. I apologise, I do try to do no plumbobs and full walls up but sometimes it is too hard! Hasn’t Mollie suffered enough? God.

 photo Screenshot-1152.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1154.jpg

It’s a great thing that Thomas has his Imaginary Friend, Fizzberry, as Mollie has trouble managing a full on garden, two cats and a toddler all on her own.

Hopefully, Thomas will make a potion to make Fizzberry real but who knows what will happen. I genuinely planned for Mollie and Benny to stay together forever but things just change.

 photo Screenshot-1153.jpg

Mollie’s Forbidden Fruit begins to grow! I’m so excited about this.
Yes, Mollie successfully spliced some seeds and is (hopefully) going to have a plantsim baby!

 photo Screenshot-1155.jpg

I got too excited and spoke too soon. On the last day of the rotation, little Herb or Rosa or some other nature-based named child was meant to join the household but it went bad.

I didn’t even know this could happen, of all one sim plant babies I’ve planted and had in the past they’ve been 100% successful.

 photo Screenshot-1156.jpg

She did get another Forbidden Fruit and even though I’m about to leave this household so won’t see it be a success or a failure until at least the Kay household (Mollie gets on well with Davin and Lorna Kay suprisingly, no idea why or when that happened, my sims just make friends without me)

Good luck little seed, I salute you.

 photo Screenshot-1157.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1158.jpg

And on the final evening, Thomas grows up into a child! The family was taxed $630 and we can shuffle across town to see how little Moonbeam Friend is next time!

BACC Rotation 5 Kay

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 5

Kay

 photo Screenshot-1116.jpg

This is what I found on returning to the Kay household.
That kitten is Pookie, who knows where it came from? I was tempted to keep it so the boys, on moving out, could have a kitten or take the older cats but they are still a way away from being YA. It will probably be Rotation 1,000,000 that they finally move out and add an extra household that I am desperate for. Hah.

Anyway, the Kay household is home to: Lorna, Davin and their four boys: Harvey, Peter, Red and Arthur. They have two cats, R2 and 3PO as well as Pookie but don’t get attached, I’m literally dialing the adoption service as we speak.

I suppose if I had technically playing each rotation as a season we would have played for a whole sim year.
Happy birthday Autumnwatch!

 photo Screenshot-1117.jpg

This is how Casa Del Kay is looking. At this point I can’t remember what it was bringing in but by the end of the rotation it was just over $800 a day.
Good news since we’ll have to save up for when the kids move out. I have no idea who the heir is going to be by the way. I feel it will be Arthur but don’t hold me to it.

 photo Screenshot-1118.jpg

This shot is of the police officer who wanted to arrest Harvey I think for being out after curfew. Then repeatedly jumped in the pool until I reset her.
Harvey still got grounded.

 photo Screenshot-1119.jpg

Arthur finally grows up into a toddler!

 photo Screenshot-1120.jpg

Just a shot of Lorna in her garden. She has completed two of the three challenges associated with that skill and I feel we deserve something once she gets all the perfect fruit.

 photo Screenshot-1121.jpg

Red’s hard work payed off and he created an Imaginary Friend potion!!
He is also the closest to maxing the skill so hopefully he’ll complete that as a teen.

 photo Screenshot-1122.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1123.jpg

Speaking of which. Red grows into a teen.

 photo Screenshot-1124.jpg

Peter Peter Peter. Thank you.
He got an electrical shock on trying to repair the computer meaning we have 3 now and I’m sure something happens.
After reading and checking the rules, Peter has just opened up a science career! Now we just need the science lab attached to this.

 photo Screenshot-1125.jpg photo Screenshot-1126.jpg

Harvey worked for a day and a bit to get his relationship with Moonbeam up enough to get her to take the potion.

That’s right. HER. I am thrilled. I thought she was going to be a he just to spite me but I am super happy Moonbeam is a girl. Also, I’ve changed her last name so she is no longer Moonbeam Kay but Moonbeam Friend as she will be moving out and we don’t need another Kay household especially since she isn’t related to them through blood or family tree.

 photo Screenshot-1127.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1128.jpg

The neglected Arthur grows up.

Not neglected in that he wasn’t skilled. Quite the opposite, he was skilled up great. I just ignore him since I kind of regret having another kid. If I had stopped at three it would have been a belta.
Oh well. Sorry Arthur.

 photo Screenshot-1129.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1130.jpg

The next and final day of this rotation brings Harvey’s birthday!
I admit, I may have played these a day longer than I was supposed to. I think I got confused and changed the household too soon. Oh well.

Harvey is now a YA. Our first natural to reach YA.

 photo Screenshot-1131.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1132.jpg

Which also means it is Moonbeam’s birthday too!

 photo Screenshot-1133.jpg

I know you are all thinking that Moonbeam and Harvey are going to get together but alas I think this is a bad idea. This would then mean Moonbeam’s kids would all be cousins to the other boys kids. Instead, she is going to go out and give me a new household and try catch her an NPC or something.

The Kay household saved up some money and after being taxed a massive $1305, Moonbeam moved out with all the household money which was just over 10k. I made her a tiny house then went back to sell some of the produce from Lorna’s garden and the Kay’s are no longer massively skint.

BACC Rotation 4 Slade

BACC
Autumnwatch Rotation 4

Slade

 photo Screenshot-1107.jpg

Welcome back!

On entering the Slade household we were greeted by a presumably mother cat and her three boy kittens. But again no relations on the actual tree.
So Benny put two of the kittens up for adoption and we kept adult cat Hazel and kitten Forest.

Also this is going to be a real short update as Mollie and Benny Slade have an easy life.
They get up and do some gardening, the majority of which is done by Mollie but Benny helps too. Benny focuses more on writing novels while Mollie plays some chess and plants seeds and stuff.

The cats are surprisingly boring.
Also, the city now has three adult cats, none of which I’ve asked for. Super fun fact there.

Mischief Managed.

 photo Screenshot-1108.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1109.jpg

They also get a resort, Slade’s Beach House!
It’s right across the street and looks pretty identical to Casa Del Kay, but an income is an income.
And a community lot is a community lot, so I would be correct in saying that I get a CAS point?

Well I think I’m, right so I’ll hold on to that CAS point.

 photo Screenshot-1110.jpg

Since these two are pretty boring as they have such a perfect routine I decide it is about time they have a kid.

It took a few attempts so I was scared it wasn’t going to happen this rotation. Between this shot and the next shot was literally a day and a half or maybe even two days.

 photo Screenshot-1111.jpg

Baby Slade is confirmed!
I can’t wait for the next generations to grow up because I want the entire neighbourhood / city to be related in some way. Like say a Slade kid marries a Kay kid and then their kid marries another household and so on and so forth.

I just want a giant tree and all the families are linked in some way.
A tree I’ll probably have to start drawing up soon once we get more households and it gets harder to follow.

 photo Screenshot-1112.jpg

Mollie rolls up the want plant a forbidden fruit so I get them the science machine in order to make that a reality.
That would be a cool addition to this household and the city.
Normally when a town has a supernatural population already it’s annoying but I really want to get some supernatural sims in.

I’m also praying that the males of the household get abducted so we can get some aliens but so far, no luck.
I’ll get a telescope because that probably helps.

 photo Screenshot-1113.jpg
 photo Screenshot-1114.jpg

And in the plants Mollie gives birth to her first born Thomas Slade. The 5th boy born in the city and still no girls.
I’ll probably have to use the CAS points to give them all girlfriends.

 photo Screenshot-1115.jpg

The Slade household was taxed a lovely $625, that is including their resort as well. How are they getting it so much cheaper?
The only difference I can think of is the foundations I built the Kay household on but not the Slade household….

Also, I forgot to age up little Forest so that will happen straight away next rotation.

Thanks for reading everyone! Fun fact, this BaCC is a week old! I started this on the 14th of July and here we are a week later. I’ve had an awesome week off but this week I’m volunteering like every day then I’ll be concentrating on my driving lessons and test then I’m going to London and Leeds immediately afterwards then the day after I get back I start working full time for the summer.
So I’ll try update as frequently as I can (I have parts written up and almost ready to go so I know I can definitely get you to Rotation 6 at this point) but these first few parts have been a nice welcome-y treat :)
